Flight Pass Rules
The following terms and conditions ("Flight Pass Rules"), which are managed by Optiontown Ireland Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Optiontown" or "OT") as a principal supplier of Flight Passes, shall apply when you buy a Flight Pass from Optiontown in relation to travel on Singapore Airlines Limited (hereinafter known as "Singapore Airlines" or "SQ") flights.

Your ticketed booking (which can be redeemed at a later stage through the usage of the Flight Pass) is governed by the General Conditions of Carriage of Singapore Airlines, the conditions in your ticket or itinerary and receipt, any tariffs which apply, and Singapore Airlines regulations.

Please note that these Flight Pass Rules, together with the Optiontown Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between You and Optiontown in relation to the purchase and usage of Flight Passes. In the event of any contradiction between the Optiontown Terms of Service and these Flight Pass Rules, these Flight Pass Rules shall prevail.


"Advance Booking" refers to the minimum number of days or hours prior to flight departure before which the flight must be booked using the Flight Pass.
"Cabin" or "Travel Class" refers to the travel class, e.g. Economy Class, Business Class.
"Customer", "You" or "Your" refers to an individual who has bought a Flight Pass or one or more of the OT Services.
"Fare Type" refers to the type of fare selected for Flight Pass, namely, Lite, Standard or Flexi. Different amenities and services are available with different Flight Pass conditions, which include flight change, cancellation, no-show, frequent flyer miles, bags etc.
"Passengers(s)" refers to the total number of distinct individuals who can book and fly using the Flight Pass.
"Flight" or "Flights" refers to the flights operated, designated or any combination thereof by Singapore Airlines.
"Flight Credit" refers to the number of flights a customer can book using a Flight Pass. Two Flight Credits are needed for one Passenger to book a round trip. Only round trip travel is permitted with the Flight Pass.
"Number of Flights" refers to the number of one way Flights which can be taken between selected destinations.
"Journey" refers to a segment of Flights that may have more than one Flight (like a segment may have both outbound and return Flights or may have connecting Flights).
"OT Services" comprises of the various services offered by OT, wherein each such service is in general referred to as "OT Service". Flight Pass is one of the OT Services.
"Travel Period" refers to the time period for which departure dates of all Flights bookings made using the Flight Pass are valid, which takes effect from the start date (i.e. the earliest possible date of the first flight).
"Travel Zone" or "Zone" refers to collection of one or more origin and destination airport pairs for which Flight Pass is valid for flight booking.

1.Purchase of a Flight Pass and subsequent changes to Flight Pass or exchange of Flight Pass for ticketed bookings can only be done through the or website. Upon confirmation of your booking, you will NOT be able to make changes to your Flight Pass, or any flights booked using your Flight Pass, through airline website, call centers or Airport tickets offices.
2.Flight Pass Purchase: Upon completing your Flight Pass purchase:
a.You get the right to book and fly on 'X' one way flights, departing during the 'Travel Period', for the selected routes of the Flight Pass, (where X= Number of Flights you have chosen while purchasing the Flight Pass). Flights can be generally booked up to 330 days in advance of the departure date. Flight Pass can be used to book only Singapore Airlines operated flights.
b.Round Trip travel permitted - Only round trip tickets may be booked with a Flight Pass.
c.Passengers Name Addition - A flight ticket can only be issued for a Passenger whose name is already included in the Flight Pass at the time of booking. One Passenger must be added to the Flight Pass at the time of Flight Pass purchase. For the remaining Passenger names, the following rule applies.
Flight Pass Purchase with valid SQ corporate ID - Remaining Passengers can be added anytime, up to the point of flight booking, until the maximum limit of Passengers for your Flight Pass (as indicated therein) is reached.
Flight Pass purchase without SQ corporate ID - All Passenger names must be added within 24 hours after the Flight Pass purchase.
d.Infant and Children Rule - Each passenger of a Flight Pass must be 2 years and above. A separate ticket will need to be purchased for an infant passenger by contacting Singapore Airlines. Please note that any children or infant travelling on flights operated by Singapore Airlines must comply with the applicable policies found at
e.Special Service Requests (SSRs) - You can add Special Service Requests (SSRs) to your flight, such as for special meals, baggage, special requests like wheel chair, disability assistance or others, by contacting Singapore Airlines directly. Please note that Singapore Airline may levy an additional charge for these additional service requests as per their regular policy.
f.Amenities - You will receive all standard services and amenities associated with your selected cabin in your designated flight which may be subject to change as per regular airline operating procedures.
g.Baggage Allowance - Subject to any changes to the Singapore Airlines baggage policy, you will receive the following baggage allowance when you make a booking under Flight Pass:

The allowance for carry-on baggage and checked baggage will always be governed by the Singapore Airlines baggage policy, which may change any time.
3.Flight Pass conditions.
a.Flight Pass Change
The allowed changes to Flight Pass can be done after paying a nominal change fee and fare difference (if applicable) through Optiontown website only. The nominal change fees and fare difference collected are inclusive of the applicable taxes and surcharges. The new Flight Pass parameters apply to all the unused flights in your Flight Pass, it is not possible to change only a portion of the flights in your Flight Pass - for example, a customer has purchased a Flight Pass of 10 Flights, and have made bookings on 4 flights. If he proceeds to make a change to his Flight Pass, e.g. extend his Travel Period, the change will apply to his 6 remaining unused flights. Changes can be done via the Manage My Pass section after login to your Flight Pass account, where you will be able to see total charges before making any change.
Passenger Name Correction - Once you have added a name to your Flight Pass, you can edit a maximum of only 3 misspelled characters in your name by submitting Identification proof. Please make sure that you have added the correct name on the Flight Pass as it appears in the passport.
b.Unless otherwise provided for in these Flight Pass Rules, Flight Pass is NON-refundable and non-cancelable once purchased.
c.No portion of the total Flight Pass price will be refunded in case of any unused Flights Credits. However, if and only if, Singapore Airlines stops flying to a destination or reduces the frequency of flights drastically or Force Majeure event occurs, and You have unused Flight Credits for that destination, then You may request refund for only these unused Flight Credits. For all refunds, You will need to contact Optiontown Customer Care via email at to submit your refund request. Optiontown will contact Singapore Airlines to process the refund and once Singapore Airlines approves the refund amount, the refund shall be processed. Notwithstanding anything said to the contrary, if the payment amount related to a Flight Pass has been transferred by Optiontown to Singapore Airlines, then the complete financial responsibility for the refund of paid amount for said Flight Pass rests solely on Singapore Airlines, and in this case Optiontown cannot be held responsible for refund of said refund amount. If the payment amount related to a Flight Pass is still with Optiontown and Optiontown has not yet sent said refund amount to Singapore Airlines, or if said refund amount has been transferred back from Singapore Airlines to Optiontown, then the financial responsibility for the refund of paid amount for the said Flight Pass rests on Optiontown.
d.Flight Pass is NON-transferable, and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash. The Journey entitlement under a Flight Pass cannot be altered except as notified otherwise by Optiontown.
e.Flight disruptions: In case a flight booked using Flight Pass is cancelled or impacted by an irregular operation as defined by Singapore Airlines, Singapore Airline's policies will be applicable.
4.Flight Pass booking conditions
a.Seat availability for flight booking - You can book flights with your Flight Pass subject to seat availability in the booking classes allowed for the purchased Flight Pass and other Flight Pass terms.
b.Manage My Booking - The policy for flight change, flight cancellation and no-show credit reinstatement is defined below:
The costs are as follows based on the Fare Type of the purchased Flight Pass. All fees are applicable per passenger per flight (inclusive of applicable taxes).

*Short haul flights refer to all travel within Southeast Asia/North Asia/West Asia and Africa (except Johannesburg and Cape Town ).
**Long haul flights refer to all travel to/from Americas/Europe/Southwest Pacific/Johannesburg/Cape Town.
No cancellation allowed for partially used tickets.
Flight change and flight cancellation are allowed only up to 4 hours before flight departure.
For flight change, the new departure date of the flight must satisfy the Advance Booking condition of the purchased Flight Pass. Only the departure date change is allowed. Passenger name, route change is not permitted on a ticket.
Any flight change or flight cancellation made to a flight booking within 4 hours of departure would be considered as no-show, and no-show policy and fees would be applicable.
No-show flight credits can be added back to Flight Pass only up to 30 days after the flight departure and must be done by contacting Optiontown via the customer care and after payment of applicable charges.
5.If you experience any difficulty during flight booking or any other functionality on the website, you must contact Optiontown before the expiry of your respective deadline subject to your Flight Pass terms. If you fail to contact us before the expiry of the respective deadline, then you cannot hold Singapore Airlines or Optiontown responsible for the same.
6.You agree and understand that the real time price may be lower or higher than the regular price displayed due to fees charged by third parties (e.g. credit card institutions), hence the savings may be more or less than the displayed amount. You agree and confirm unconditionally that you have taken the informed decision with the clear understanding and knowledge of the above. You irrevocably and unconditionally agree that you will not hold Optiontown and/or Singapore Airlines responsible in any manner whatsoever for any difference in regular prices and/or savings displayed and you cannot cancel the Flight Pass due to this.
7.Flight Pass price includes the base fare, taxes and fees for all the Flights purchased, excluding any surcharges that may be levied for payment which will be shown to you at the time of making final payment. In addition, your bank may charge additional fees due to bank charges/conversion charges/credit charges etc. as per their policy. Service fees may apply for changes to your Flight Pass or for changes to your bookings. However, in the event, the government and any third party taxes and fees change between the time of Flight Pass purchase and the time of actual flight booking, then in that case, there may be additional taxes to be paid at the time of flight booking or at the airport before departure subject to operating procedures.
8.Flight Pass prices may vary across different Customers even for the same pass parameters.
9.Flight Pass bookings are based on last seat availability. You understand that if a flight is fully booked, you will not able to make a booking on a fully booked flight using your Flight Pass.
10.The total Flight Pass amount paid will appear in the name of Optiontown. Customers agree that they cannot challenge or dispute a charge if the name appearing on their credit card statement is different than the one mentioned above.
11.If you have purchased one or more ancillary services (e.g. chargeable seat selection with Singapore Airlines and if you would like to change your flight booked under Flight Pass after purchasing those ancillary services, then you would need to contact Singapore Airlines to rebook those ancillary services on your new flight which will be subject to availability on the new flight. The airline does not guarantee that these ancillary services will be available on the new flight.
12.To the extent permissible by local law or regulation, these Flight Pass Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of New York, USA. Customer submits to the NON-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New York, USA to resolve any disputes that may arise out of them.
13.If any provision of these Flight Pass Rules are declared void or unenforceable by any competent authority or court shall, to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability, be deemed severable and shall not affect the other provisions remaining which shall continue unaffected. To the extent that any provision contained or referred to in these Flight Pass Rules is contrary to any applicable laws, government regulations, orders or requirements that cannot be waived by agreement of the parties, such provision shall not apply.
14.Optiontown and Singapore Airlines accepts no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from computer malfunctions, viruses, bugs or other such causes. Optiontown and Singapore Airlines are in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party web site or home page access which reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the Flight Pass.
15.After the purchase of Flight Pass, in the interest of your security and fraud prevention, you may be contacted by Optiontown and/or Singapore Airlines to request some documents for verification purpose and in case those documents are not provided then your Flight Pass purchase may be put on HOLD or canceled including any booked flights. Optiontown is the sole official partner of Singapore Airlines to provide Flight Pass and is a secure channel that is capable to receive customer's documents for security and verification purpose.
16.Singapore Airlines may request for payment or other types of information at the check in counter for verification purpose. If the requested documents are not provided or Singapore Airlines is unable to verify you as the customer or your payment information, you may be denied boarding at your own risk and all your future tickets may be canceled. Optiontown and Singapore Airlines shall not be liable in such cases and it will be up to the customer to provide sufficient documents as requested by Singapore Airlines and Optiontown for customer and payment verification.
17.When you buy a Flight Pass, Optiontown processes your personal data in accordance with Optiontown Privacy Policy. When you use your Flight Pass to make a flight booking with Singapore Airlines, Optiontown will disclose your personal data to Singapore Airlines to process your booking. Please refer to the Singapore Airlines Privacy Policy for further information on how Singapore Airlines processes your personal data.
18.Optiontown reserves the right to change these Flight Pass Rules at any time.
